“There are few things I like more than live music, so my friends and I have been to most every major bar in the Boston area and seen countless cover bands. Most have been great, but Elephant in the Room was the only band we would plan our weekend around. If we saw them in the lineup at Lansdowne or The Burren – that would be our spot. We knew the songs would be fun, the atmosphere electric and our voices would be hoarse when we finally called our ubers to go home.
It’s been a couple years since I’ve been a regular at the Boston bar scene but when my (now) wife and I discussed music for our wedding, I insisted on Elephant in the Room. In fact, it was the only thing I insisted on.
They were spectacular. The dance floor was packed all night long. I watched my father-in-law scream the words to Country Roads, my wife and her bridesmaid’s all holding hands while singing Unwritten and our quaint little venue shake during Mr. Brightside. I might be biased, but they were the best wedding band I’ve seen. I couldn’t be happier with our selection.
Along with putting on a fantastic show, Elephant in the Room handled all the music for our ceremony and throughout dinner. They brought all the AV equipment and Jess emceed - bringing us through introductions and all the usual dances. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was extremely professional working with our wedding planner and making sure we had picked out all our songs and playlists needed throughout the night.
